Breton Country Cottages are a small company, resident In Brittany and have been operating successfully for 12 years. We offer a personal service to the owner and the holidaymaker; we want them to return again and again.

When they walk into your cottage we want them to feel at home. We hope we have covered all aspects concerning the smooth and efficient running of the property and to guarantee a trouble free holiday.

We produce a quality brochure targeted on positive advertising responses and provide a comprehensive management service to include caretaking in the winter months.



Although we do not expect exclusive rights to your property as you will want to enjoy the holiday season too, we would like to be able to rent your property for six weeks from June to September.

The brochure will show a detailed description and photo of the property and information on local amenities.

Breton Country Cottages advertises in National newspapers and relevant magazines,
and continually strives to be in a high position on the Internet Search Engines with our own website. We charge an initial entry fee onto the site and an annual renewal.

We will advise on an achievable rent for your property and have a list of recommended furnishings and equipment required.

We will handle the bookings and send you a regular update of confirmed bookings.
A booking is confirmed with a Deposit of 25% of the rental and the Balance is due 6 weeks prior to commencement date.

Breton Country Cottages can be flexible when paying owners. The majority of owners ask to receive one cheque at the end of the letting season. We are happy to reach an agreement with each owner.

Holidaymakers are visited during their stay to provide a welcome and to ensure any potential problems are dealt with immediately. We provide a "welcome" bottle of wine too.

The property is checked after each let to ensure there is no damage. A basic security deposit is charged and only returned after the property has been inspected.

We can help you find a reliable cleaner to ensure that the property is in a good condition for the following guests. The owner will pay for the cleaning service.

A commission of 20% of each weekly rental is charged for the Letting Service.




One of the biggest headaches associated with owning a holiday home is the possibility of damage and deterioration when it is unoccupied. As residents we will be able to regularly inspect your property and advise on any repairs we think necessary and find artisans to do the work on your instruction. This we feel will eliminate some of the worry associated with maintaining a property from a distance. We can deal with a minor problem before it becomes a catastrophe!

Often the time you are able to spend here is limited and you will not be available to receive goods you have ordered. We will be happy to receive and oversee their installation and if required purchase items for you.

We can organize redecoration, even down to purchasing the paint; laying of carpet etc.
The general caretaking fee will depend on the distance traveled.


We will find a gardener for you and ensure work is carried out. Fees will be set by the gardener.
